Spare batteries are only useful when they can be charged without tying up a transmitter. The ATW-CHGA6 single-bay external battery charger provides a dedicated charging option for LI-220 and LI-320 rechargeable lithium-ion batteries used with compatible transmitters within the D50 digital UHF wireless system. USB-C standalone operation and direct integration with the ATW-CHG6 charging station make it a flexible accessory for touring, live sound, broadcast, houses of worship, corporate AV and installed wireless systems.

Standalone USB-C Charging for Removable Batteries

The ATW-CHGA6 can operate independently through its USB-C input, allowing users to charge removable transmitter batteries separately from compatible transmitters within the D50 wireless system. When powered by USB-C, it charges an LI-220 battery in approximately five hours or an LI-320 battery in approximately seven hours and 10 minutes. Batteries and the USB-C cable are sold separately, making the charger a focused accessory for users who already maintain an inventory of compatible rechargeable batteries.

Integration With ATW-CHG6 Charging Systems

For larger deployments of the D50 wireless system, the ATW-CHGA6 can be inserted directly into an optional ATW-CHG6 2-bay charging station, allowing removable batteries to charge alongside compatible docked transmitters. The charger supports LI-220 batteries used with ATW-DT3201 bodypack transmitters and LI-320 batteries used with ATW-DT3202 handheld transmitters. Whether used independently through USB-C or integrated into an ATW-CHG6 setup, the ATW-CHGA6 provides a compact way to keep spare batteries charged and ready for extended productions, events and installed wireless applications.
