Introducing Avantis Solo

Introducing Avantis Solo

The Avantis Range

The Avantis Range

Description

Large-scale productions demand immense processing power, flexible routing and intuitive control, but not every engineer needs the footprint of a full-size console. The Allen & Heath Avantis Solo digital mixer with dPack delivers the same XCVI 96kHz FPGA engine, ultralow 0.7ms latency and dLive-derived processing found in the larger Avantis platform, all within a streamlined, space-efficient control surface. Enhanced by the included dPack upgrade, Avantis Solo expands to 96 input channels, 56 configurable buses and 24 Dyn8 processors while unlocking advanced DEEP processing and premium effects capabilities. Whether serving as a front-of-house console, monitor mixer or installation centerpiece, Avantis Solo delivers the performance, flexibility and workflow efficiency required for demanding modern productions.

dPack Unlocks Expanded Mixing Capabilities

The included dPack transforms Avantis Solo into an even more capable production platform. Input capacity expands from 64 to 96 channels, configurable mix buses increase from 42 to 56, and available Dyn8 processors grow from 16 to 24 simultaneous instances. These enhancements provide the resources needed to manage larger channel counts, more complex routing structures and demanding festival, touring and installed sound applications. The addition of CompStortion, Allen & Heath's DEEP compressor emulation, further expands processing capabilities with advanced compression, saturation and character options suitable for vocals, instruments, drums and mix bus applications.

RackUltra FX and dLive-Derived Processing Tools

Avantis Solo with dPack brings high-end effects processing directly into the mixing environment. RackUltra FX introduces premium reverbs, harmonizers, vocal processors, saturation tools and creative effects derived from the dLive ecosystem. When paired with the optional RackUltra FX module, engineers gain access to eight dedicated RackUltra FX engines without consuming channels, buses or RackExtra FX slots. Combined with DEEP processing options and comprehensive routing flexibility, Avantis Solo delivers detailed sonic control typically associated with much larger production systems.

Continuity UI and Fast Mixing Workflows

At the center of the Avantis Solo experience is a 15.6" Full HD touchscreen running Allen & Heath's Continuity UI. Designed to create a seamless relationship between physical controls and touchscreen interaction, the interface keeps critical information and controls immediately accessible. Touch-sensitive faders provide instant visual feedback, while Smart Rotaries and assignable controls allow rapid access to EQ, dynamics, effects and routing functions. The result is a workflow that feels fast, intuitive and highly responsive, helping engineers stay focused on the mix rather than navigating layers of menus.

Professional Connectivity for Modern Audio Systems

Despite its compact footprint, Avantis Solo offers extensive connectivity for professional audio environments. Local I/O includes analog inputs and outputs, AES digital connections and USB recording and playback, while dual expansion card slots support Dante, MADI, Waves, gigaACE and other networking formats. The SLink port enables seamless integration with Allen & Heath stage boxes, remote I/O systems and personal monitoring solutions. This flexibility allows Avantis Solo to adapt easily to front-of-house mixing, monitor applications, broadcast workflows and permanent installations.

Scalable Control for Professional Productions

Avantis Solo supports a comprehensive suite of remote control solutions, including Avantis Director, MixPad, OneMix and Allen & Heath networked controllers. Engineers can mix wirelessly from anywhere in the venue, provide performers with personalized monitor control or expand the system with additional remote interfaces as production requirements evolve. For touring engineers, houses of worship, production companies and installed sound environments seeking large-console capabilities in a more compact format, the Allen & Heath Avantis Solo with dPack delivers the processing depth, flexibility and workflow speed required by today's productions.
