Alesis Nitro Ultimate 9-Piece Electronic Drum Set With Zildjian Cymbals

The Alesis Nitro Ultimate 9-piece electronic drum set with Zildjian cymbals delivers an expressive playing experience with responsive mesh heads, a stand-mounted hi-hat controller and an expanded collection of drum and cymbal sounds. Designed for developing and experienced drummers alike, this electronic drum kit combines a 10" dual-zone mesh snare, three 8" dual-zone mesh toms, an 8" mesh kick tower and four Zildjian-branded dual-zone cymbals. The Nitro Ultimate module provides 52 drum kits and over 640 sounds, while Bluetooth audio makes it easy to practice alongside your favorite music. New to this version is the Zildjian Session Mix Vol. 1 expansion pack, featuring studio-recorded cymbal samples from the Zildjian Artist Vault, accessible through the included BFD Player software on Mac or PC. From quiet practice sessions to computer-based recording, the Nitro Ultimate offers a versatile setup for developing technique, exploring sounds and capturing performances.

Responsive Mesh Heads and Expressive Hi-Hat Control

Every aspect of the Nitro Ultimate's playing surface is designed to capture the dynamics of acoustic drumming. Dual-zone mesh pads respond to head and rim strikes, allowing you to incorporate rimshots and other articulations into your playing while keeping acoustic noise to a minimum. The movable, stand-mounted hi-hat controller provides nuanced foot control for open, closed and intermediate hi-hat sounds, along with foot splashes. Compatible with traditional hi-hat stands (sold separately), the controller allows drummers to position the hi-hat according to their preferred setup. Adjustable pad sensitivity and velocity curves provide additional control over how the kit responds to different playing styles.

Nine-Piece Configuration With Zildjian-Branded Dual-Zone Cymbals

The Nitro Ultimate features a nine-piece configuration built around a 10" dual-zone mesh snare, three 8" dual-zone mesh toms with metal hoops and an 8" mesh kick tower with an included kick pedal. Four 10" Zildjian-branded dual-zone cymbals complete the setup, including two crashes, a ride and a movable hi-hat. The cymbal pads support separate bow and edge articulations, while choke functionality lets you stop cymbal sounds by grabbing the edge. A reinforced four-post steel rack with locking clamps provides a stable foundation and allows the kit to be arranged around your preferred playing position.

Authentic Zildjian Cymbal Samples Through BFD Player

Beyond the Zildjian branding on its cymbal pads, this version of the Nitro Ultimate includes the Zildjian Session Mix Vol. 1 expansion pack for BFD Player. Featuring samples of real cymbals hand-selected from the Zildjian Artist Vault, the expansion brings an additional collection of studio-recorded cymbal sounds to your computer-based setup. Connect the Nitro Ultimate module to a Mac or PC via USB MIDI, open the included BFD Player software and use the kit to trigger the expansion's sounds. This provides an additional sound palette for recording, practicing and exploring different cymbal combinations without changing the physical kit.

Over 640 Sounds, Bluetooth Audio and Flexible Connectivity

The Nitro Ultimate drum module includes 52 kits—36 factory presets and 16 user slots—along with more than 640 drum, cymbal, percussion and electronic sounds. Players can customize individual pad voices, adjust levels and effects, and save their preferred configurations for future sessions. Integrated Bluetooth audio allows wireless playback of songs, backing tracks and lesson content from a compatible device. Stereo 1/4" outputs connect to external amplification or recording equipment, while a 1/8" headphone output supports private practice. An auxiliary input accommodates wired audio sources, and USB MIDI provides connectivity to computer-based instruments and recording software.

A Complete Electronic Drum Setup for Continued Development

With its adjustable mesh pads, expressive hi-hat control and extensive sound library, the Nitro Ultimate supports drummers working on everything from fundamental techniques to more demanding performances. Built-in practice functions include a metronome, recording and playback capabilities, and learning modes that help players develop timing and accuracy. The included 90-day Drumeo subscription provides access to interactive lessons, while BFD Player, the Dark Mahogany Expansion Pack, the Core Library and the Zildjian Session Mix Vol. 1 expansion extend the kit's creative possibilities on a computer. For drummers seeking acoustic-style response, flexible practice tools and additional Zildjian cymbal sounds, the Alesis Nitro Ultimate 9-piece electronic drum set offers a comprehensive electronic drumming platform.
