Alesis Nitro Pro 8-Piece Electronic Drum Kit With Zildjian Cymbals

From dialing in your favorite grooves to exploring the unmistakable sounds of Zildjian cymbals, the Alesis Nitro Pro 8-piece electronic drum kit With Zildjian cymbals puts expressive drumming and creative flexibility within reach. Its 10" dual-zone deep mesh snare and three 8" dual-zone mesh toms deliver natural rebound and expressive head-and-rim response, while an 8" mesh kick tower accommodates double bass drum pedals for more demanding footwork. Three 10" cymbal pads complete the kit, including a hi-hat, crash and ride. The Nitro Pro module offers 36 factory drum kits, 16 user kit slots and more than 500 sounds, with Bluetooth audio for playing alongside favorite tracks. This Zildjian edition also includes the Zildjian Session Mix Vol. 1 expansion, featuring studio-recorded cymbal samples accessible through BFD Player on Mac or PC. Whether developing technique, exploring different drum sounds or working with recording software, the Nitro Pro provides a flexible foundation for creative drumming.

Responsive Mesh Heads With Double-Kick Pedal Compatibility

The Nitro Pro's deep mesh snare and tom pads provide a playing surface designed to respond to different techniques and dynamics. A 10" dual-zone snare captures both head and rim strikes, while three 8" dual-zone toms support expressive fills and varied articulations. Adjustable sensitivity and velocity curves let drummers tailor the response to their playing style, from lighter strokes to more forceful accents. The 8" mesh kick tower supports double bass drum pedals, giving players room to develop faster footwork and more complex patterns. Together, the mesh playing surfaces offer acoustic-style rebound with reduced playing noise, making the kit well suited to regular home practice.

Eight-Piece Configuration With Zildjian-Branded Cymbal Pads

The Nitro Pro features an eight-piece configuration that balances familiar acoustic drum placement with the flexibility of an electronic kit. Alongside the mesh snare, three toms and kick tower are three 10" Zildjian-branded cymbal pads: a hi-hat, a crash and a ride. Both the crash and ride support choke functionality, allowing drummers to stop sustained cymbal sounds by grabbing the pad. A steel rack with reinforced mounts and notched adjustments provides a stable foundation and helps maintain consistent positioning between sessions. Full-size kit spacing gives players room to arrange the components comfortably, whether practicing fundamental grooves or working through more demanding performances.

Expanded Zildjian Cymbal Sounds Through BFD Player

Beyond its distinctive Zildjian-branded cymbal pads, this Nitro Pro variant includes the Zildjian Session Mix Vol. 1 expansion pack for BFD Player. The collection features samples of real cymbals hand-selected from the Zildjian Artist Vault and recorded in a studio environment to capture their tonal characteristics. Connect the Nitro Pro module to a Mac or PC via USB MIDI, launch the included BFD Player software and use the kit to trigger the expansion's cymbal sounds. These additional sounds run through the computer-based software rather than the module's onboard sound library, providing another creative option for practice and recording. The included Dark Mahogany expansion further broadens the available drum sounds.

Versatile Drum Sounds and Bluetooth Audio Connectivity

The Nitro Pro module includes 36 factory drum kits inspired by classic and modern styles, plus 16 user kit slots for saving personalized setups. Its library of 551 drum, cymbal, percussion and effects sounds gives players a broad range of voices to explore, from acoustic-style kits to electronic textures. Individual pad sounds can be adjusted, while reverb and three-band EQ provide additional control over the overall sound. Bluetooth audio lets drummers stream music from a compatible device for play-along practice, and an auxiliary input accommodates wired audio sources. USB MIDI connectivity supports computer-based virtual instruments and recording software, while stereo audio outputs and a headphone connection provide flexible listening options.

Built-In Practice Tools for Developing Drumming Skills

From learning basic rhythms to refining more advanced techniques, the Nitro Pro provides tools for structured practice and ongoing development. The module includes 60 play-along tracks, a metronome and learning modes with beats, rhythms and patterns that let players practice along with examples or receive feedback on their timing. A built-in performance recorder makes it easy to capture and review playing directly through the module. The included 90-day Drumeo subscription adds access to guided lessons, while BFD Player opens additional possibilities for computer-based sound exploration and recording. With responsive mesh pads, double-kick compatibility and expanded Zildjian cymbal sounds, the Alesis Nitro Pro 8-piece electronic drum kit supports drummers as their skills and creative interests develop.
