The AKG WMS 40 Snap-On Wireless System includes a receiver and the SO 40 Snap On Transmitter, which turns your favorite mic into a wireless microphone. The transmitter simply plugs into its XLR connection”no wire or beltpack needed. The system offers compact size, ease of use, and a host of features. On/low-battery LED. On/mute/off switch and input gain control. Interchangeable color-coded parts for easy channel recognition. Onboard charging connectors (no need to remove battery for recharging). Compact, rugged housing. Powered by a single AAA battery for approximately 12 hours or AAA rechargeable battery for lowest operating cost of any similar unit.
