Choosing the Right Studio Monitors

ADAM Audio T7V - Active Nearfield Monitor

Description
What does it take to hear every detail in your mix with confidence? The ADAM Audio T7V powered studio monitor delivers exactly that with a precision-engineered design built around the brand’s renowned U-ART ribbon tweeter, a 7" polypropylene woofer and efficient Class-D amplification. With a wide frequency response extending from 39Hz–25kHz, a crossover at 2.6kHz and clean, low-distortion output, this nearfield monitor is designed to provide accurate, analytical playback across music production, mixing and content creation. Combining balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs with rear-panel tuning controls, the T7V offers a flexible, studio-ready solution that adapts easily to a wide range of setups.
U-ART Tweeter and HPS Waveguide Precision
At the core of the T7V is ADAM Audio’s signature U-ART (Accelerated Ribbon Technology) tweeter, a hand-folded design derived from the company’s flagship monitoring systems. This 1.9" high-frequency driver delivers detailed, extended highs with minimal listening fatigue, while the proprietary HPS waveguide ensures wide dispersion and consistent imaging across the listening position. The result is a spacious, accurate soundstage that allows you to make critical mix decisions with confidence.
Custom Woofer and Efficient Amplification
The T7V’s low-end performance is driven by a custom 7" polypropylene woofer, engineered for rigidity, responsiveness and controlled excursion. Paired with a 50W Class-D amplifier for the woofer and a 20W amplifier for the tweeter, the system provides clean headroom and efficient thermal performance for extended listening sessions. This combination delivers tight, accurate bass, a focused midrange and balanced overall response—ideal for nearfield monitoring in home studios and professional environments alike.
Flexible Connectivity and Room Adaptation
Designed for real-world studio use, the T7V features both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, allowing easy integration with audio interfaces, mixers and consumer devices. Rear-panel controls provide quick room adaptation with HF and LF shelving adjustments, along with gain and input selection for streamlined setup. Housed in a solid MDF cabinet with an ABS front baffle and rear-ported design, the ADAM Audio T7V offers a dependable, accurate monitoring platform that fits seamlessly into modern production workflows.
