Slim Korina Body Combines Rich Resonance With Ergonomic Comfort

The Sensei H90 features a solid korina body with refined proportions designed to balance resonant performance and exceptional playing comfort. Also known as white limba, korina is prized for its relatively light weight, consistency and rich harmonic response, providing a warm, articulate foundation with pronounced midrange presence and natural sustain. The Sensei's reduced body thickness creates a sleek, manageable feel, while improved upper-fret access allows the fretting hand to move comfortably into higher positions. Reverend's thin, UV-cured finish complements the instrument's lively character while highlighting its distinctive contours. Bold top finishes, contrasting transparent brown backs and an updated headstock logo give the Sensei H90 an unmistakable visual identity, combining classic inspiration with Reverend's contemporary design sensibility.

Three-Piece Korina Neck and Ebony Fingerboard for Enhanced Playability

The Sensei H90 features a three-piece korina neck designed for strength and stability, providing a dependable foundation for consistent playing response and long-term reliability. Reverend's Medium Oval profile offers a comfortable, supportive grip, while the 24.75" scale provides a familiar string feel suited to expressive bends, fluid lead work and articulate chord voicings. A smooth ebony fingerboard with a 12" radius creates a balanced playing surface across 22 frets, supporting comfortable fretting and controlled string bending. The dense ebony construction contributes a firm, articulate playing response, complementing the warmth of the korina neck and body. A dual-action truss rod with headstock access allows convenient adjustments, completing a thoughtfully designed neck that balances traditional construction with modern playing comfort.

Steelhead Humbucker and P90 Deliver Distinctive Tonal Versatility

The Sensei H90's hybrid pickup configuration combines a Reverend Steelhead HB humbucker in the bridge position with a Steelhead P90 at the neck, delivering two distinct tonal personalities in one versatile instrument. The bridge humbucker provides thick, powerful tone with the clarity and attack to handle aggressive overdrive, while the neck P90 offers a warmer, more open response with the characteristic bite and articulation of a traditional P90. A three-way selector allows players to access either pickup individually or blend their complementary voices, while master volume and tone controls provide intuitive sound shaping. Reverend's signature passive Bass Contour control adds another dimension of flexibility, rolling off low frequencies to tighten the response and introduce brighter, leaner textures. From muscular rhythm sounds to expressive leads and articulate cleans, the Sensei H90 offers a broad tonal palette with unmistakable character.

Tune-O-Matic Bridge and Pin-Lock Tuners Support Reliable Performance

The Sensei H90 pairs its resonant korina construction with dependable hardware designed for consistent tuning and straightforward adjustment. A Tune-O-Matic bridge provides individual saddle intonation control, while the stopbar tailpiece creates a solid string anchor that supports sustain and a direct playing response. Reverend Pin-Lock tuners use a thumbwheel-operated mechanism to secure the strings at the posts, simplifying string changes and helping maintain tuning stability. A 1.69" Boneite nut provides consistent string support and comfortable spacing, complementing the guitar's familiar 24.75" scale. Reverend's thin, UV-cured finish and carefully coordinated appointments complete the instrument's refined presentation, while its streamlined hardware design keeps the focus on reliable performance and expressive playing.

Hybrid Pickup Versatility With Signature Reverend Style

The Reverend Sensei H90 brings together resonant korina construction, comfortable playing proportions and a distinctive hybrid pickup configuration in a refined, performance-focused solidbody. Its slimmer body and improved upper-fret access provide an inviting playing experience, while the stable three-piece korina neck and ebony fingerboard support precise, expressive fretting. The Steelhead HB bridge humbucker delivers muscular humbucker power, complemented by the warmth and articulation of the Steelhead P90 neck pickup and the flexible tonal shaping of Reverend's Bass Contour control. Dependable fixed-bridge hardware and signature retro-modern styling complete an instrument that balances classic character with contemporary versatility. For left-handed players seeking a distinctive combination of tonal flexibility, refined comfort and unmistakable Reverend style, the Sensei H90 offers an expressive alternative to conventional dual-pickup solidbodies.
