Overview

The 333XL INFINIUM is a cutting edge, modern-style tube guitar amp designed for use in any situation or genre – the harder the better. The name says it all 3 - 3 - 3; three fully independent channels for three fully independent gain structures and tone stacks.

The 333XL INFINIUM takes it up a notch – 4 notches to be exact, with the addition of an overall active Presence control; a very-effective analog Noise Gate on the Lead channel; EL34 power tubes for a more compressed midrange (also compatible with a variety of output tubes); and an XL switch on the Crunch and Lead channels that adds serious bottom-end to your tone.

The revolutionary INFINIUM Tube Life Multiplier technology watches your tubes like a hawk, ensuring you get all the tone, all the time – and your tubes live a long and healthy life! Add to this an assignable, high-class Reverb; remote-controllable FX Loop; and switchable power amp damping, and you’ve got one awesome tone machine – the 333XL INFINIUM!

Classic All-Tube Design
The 333XL INFINIUM features true Class-A/B technology with a 4 x 12AX7 front-end and 4 x 6L6 tube power stage. A masterful handcrafted, all-tube amplifier, the 333XL INFINIUM provides excellent heavy-rock tone with natural tube compression, yielding the sweet distortion and break-up you’ve come to love from the guitar icons who made rock ‘n’ roll history!

INFINIUM Tube Life Multiplier
Technology years in the making, our INFINIUM Tube Life Multiplier Technology can extend the usable lifespan of your amplifier’s expensive power tubes by up to 20 times, saving you huge money and ensuring the integrity of your tone. How? This revolutionary circuit automatically and continuously monitors the performance of each output tube, and dynamically drives it towards the target operating point, for an evenly distributed load. INFINIUM also compensates for the effects of aging, automatically adjusting current levels to keep your tubes sounding as good as new – even when AC line voltages drop below nominal levels. Similar technology has been used for decades in all-wheel drive cars, where systems modulate the power going to each wheel to improve traction. Just consider the 333XL INFINIUM as “4-wheel drive” for your guitar.

The 333XL INFINIUM takes all the guesswork out of tube replacement by illuminating an LED next to a tube that is reaching the end of its usable lifespan. And thanks to INFINIUM’s Auto-Bias design, you simply replace the indicated tube – without a trip to the repair shop, saving you even more money.

Channel Your Sound
The totally clean Clean channel won’t break up: great for jazz, country, blues and also great as a fat, clean power base for players using external boxes for their OD and distortion.
The Crunch channel can work as a “halfway dirty” sound for rock and blues, if you crank the volume and use the gain as your master volume. It shines as the heavy rhythm channel for a metal rig, when the gain is fully cranked.
The Lead channel has the same structure as the Crunch channel, but with access to even more brutal gain.

Comments about Bugera 333XL Infinium 120W Tube Guitar Amplifier Head:

I watched tons of vids and read plenty of reviews, good and bad on this product. I have multiple amps for different tone reasons and guitar matching. I purchased a Hughes and kettner Grandmiester Deluxe 40 last year and have learned that if reviewers say 'change the tubes' then there's a reason they say it. Same goes for this 333. The sound is very similar to my H&K but sharper. This is very modern and beefy. Even with new tubes, it's half the price of many 'high end", high gain amps. I could not be more impressed. I have it patched to an orange 4x12 with V30s and will probably use this as my main. Marshall is more chimey, H&K is more dry, Peaveys are mid scoopy, and this sounds like a H&K, Mesa hybrid. Rock tones are there but it definitely leans towards a modern metal sound. I use a Maxon overdrive for this head but that's only for personal preference. This amp needs no overdrive. I use Jackson, BC Rich, Schecter, Gibson, Ibanez, of varying price ranges and mods and currently use an Iron Label ibby S as my main. Everything sounds good (aside from one mid range which will remain nameless unless you see my other review). The reverb and "noise gate' are decent. The presence seems almost unnecessary. I really like the EQ range. Much more than on most amps I've used. There is plenty of mid range on this amp. It's tight, but not too dry for me and there's more than enough gain. Like I've said I read a lot of reviews, and watched a ton of vids. I agree with what others have said about this amp, positive, and agree that the stock tubes need to be swapped. I wish I had done that for the H&K. If I had looked at this amp first I probably would have passed on the H&k and saved a lot of money, or gotten another guitar. But this is big and the H&K is very portable. I also like the other name brands I've mentioned, but, bottom line, if you want power, metal, affordability, then this is a great option. Bugera 333xl infinium is a metal beefcake.

Comments about Bugera 333XL Infinium 120W Tube Guitar Amplifier Head:

I like the way this amp sounds. Gives just the right amount of gain you could possibly need. If you have not tried this amount I would say try it and you would not regret it.

Comments about Bugera 333XL Infinium 120W Tube Guitar Amplifier Head:

I wrote a review of this head b4 i really got into it & that was a mistake, i sincerely apologize! My guitarist has a trirec & that head CRUSHES utterly DESTROYS this head! At 1st in our rehearsal space it took some time but thought i got a "good" sound dialed in but over the last 4 rehearsals ive been less & less happy with the tone, ive tweaked it run my ts808 thru it & at Best sounds like a boss heavy metal pedal. I brought it home to my little sound proofed studio hoping that without sound reflection i could dial it in to a useful sound but im VERY DISAPPOINTED even for the small amount i paid for it. Ive got other quality amps so its not the end of the world but for the $ i spent i shouldve bought something i KNOW has a very good sound, like jet city custom 22 a much better investment in tone. Lead & crunch channels both sound like a cheap distortion pedal, compressed NO headroom & "twangy" fizzy idk exactly how to explain it i just know it let me down! My own fault, i knew better but the trirec i guess is the exception so i broke my own rule. Bottom line if u r on a budget buy a jet city, u may have to share an eq & give up a few other features but you will have a QUALITY sound that you WILL be happy with! THIS AMP IS FOR BEGINERS not for someone who knows, craves & appreciates quality tone.
