Description

Expand your control surface without giving up the fast, standalone workflow that makes WOLFMIX intuitive. The ADJ WMX WING, powered by WOLFMIX, is a dedicated control expansion for the ADJ WMX1, WMX1 Mk2 and WMX1 Mk3, adding eight motorized touch-sensitive faders, eight OLED displays, an 8 x 5 RGB button matrix, dedicated group controls and four rotary encoders. Connect WING to a compatible WMX1 controller and the two operate as a unified lighting system, with projects automatically synchronized and controls adapting to the active operating mode. All eight fixture groups can be placed directly in front of the operator for faster dimming, flashing, soloing, selection and effects manipulation, creating a larger hands-on workspace without requiring a computer for normal operation.

Motorized Faders Put Dynamic Control at Your Fingertips

Eight motorized faders automatically move to reflect current parameter values as functions and pages change, while capacitive touch-sensitive caps, illuminated lightguides and individual OLED strip displays provide visual and tactile feedback. The 8 x 5 RGB matrix and eight dedicated group-selection buttons keep fixtures and functions within easy reach, while dedicated OK/GO and CANCEL controls support live show operation. In COLOR FX, MOVE FX and BEAM FX modes, relevant parameters automatically move onto the faders; when editing colors or positions, the controls similarly adapt to the parameters needed for the task.

Cue List Control Supports Structured Productions

For songs, theatrical performances and other programmed productions, Cue List mode provides capacity for up to 5,000 cues, 1,000 cues per list and 100 cue lists. A single cue can combine as many as five presets, allowing color, movement, beam effects and other attributes to change together, with adjustable fade and hold times for shaping transitions. Cues can advance manually from the dedicated GO control, progress automatically or synchronize using MIDI Time Code. CONTROL mode provides another workflow for direct fixture manipulation, allowing up to 680 fixtures to be selected from the matrix while the motorized faders control parameters such as dimmer, color, pan, tilt, zoom, iris, focus, gobo rotation and prism rotation.

Custom Mapping, DMX Expansion and MIDI Control

MAPPING mode provides four customizable pages for assigning WOLFMIX functions across the motorized faders and matrix buttons, while unused controls can transmit generic MIDI commands to compatible external production hardware or software. The WMX WING also incorporates four physical DMX outputs—two 3-pin and two 5-pin XLR—with two universes built in and expansion available up to four universes; paired with a suitably expanded WMX1, the complete system can support up to eight DMX universes. USB-C handles power and data connectivity, a USB-A connection links compatible WMX1 controllers, and a 100 mm VESA mounting pattern supports flexible installation. Measuring approximately 8.7" x 11.4" x 2.25" and weighing 3.4 lb., the ADJ WMX WING brings substantial physical control to a compact production footprint.
