The health and safety of our students, instructors and associates is our top priority. We want to assure you feel safe and comfortable when you're taking lessons with us. To that end, we worked diligently with our lessons parents and students to co-create our safety standards ensuring our students and instructors stay safe as we continue providing great musical learning experiences.

In-store lessons are now available in select locations.

To assure the protection of our students, parents, customers, instructors and associates, we are requiring everyone to wear a face mask or adequate face covering when in our stores. While this isn't an easy decision, we are erring on the side of caution, and in accordance with the CDC, to protect you and our associates.

Our new health and safety procedures for in-store lessons include:

• Temperature checks of all associates, instructors and students
• Increased thorough and regular cleanings throughout the store
• Hand sanitizer available throughout the store
• Limiting the number of customers allowed in the store at a time
• Reduced hours of store operation
• Utilizing our largest lesson studio to ensure social distancing
• Providing time between lessons to allow for thorough cleanings

When visiting our stores, we ask that you:

• Do not enter the store if you are sick or were exposed to COVID-19
• Wear adequate face coverings or masks when in our stores
• Practice social distancing by staying six feet away from others
• Request assistance before handling merchandise
• Use hand sanitizer before entering a lesson studio and touching gear

We now offer a Guitar Center Lessons Student Pass to provide those picking up or dropping off students immediate entry into the store. Ask your instructor for details.

Additionally, so our instructors and students aren't sharing equipment, we ask that students come to their lessons prepared with everything they may need, including:

• Instrument
• Metronome
• Guitar picks
• Tuner
• Drum sticks
• Method books and/or curriculum
• Other supplies pertinent to each lesson
