I have been shopping for a cigar box guitar for a while. When I came across this one I took the plunge. I am very impressed by the quality and playable of this guitar. Tuning tends to fall out a bit.
I am glad I bought it

I can sit around and play this guitar all day. I'm thinking of getting a stomp wedge pedal so I can play along with a beat. I have it tuned to open G so I can use a slide with it. The action is a little low for a slide if you are not good a it. I have a very practiced slide technique so it is no problem for me but a beginner may have some difficulty. The only thing that was mildly irritating was that the tone and volume knobs are not aligned in a straight line … in fact they are WAY off … like maybe they were drunk when they drilled the holes and just put in the knobs anyway. It doesn't effect the playability in any way it was just odd. Nothing I would return/exchange it for but … just not sure how it got past the QA department. Otherwise it is very well made and has a real quality feel to it.
A lot of fun

I bought it to try different open tunings and slide guitar on .I am More that pleasantly surprised. This thing is a blast to play. First time in a long time I had to force myself to put a instrument down to go to sleep . It's so simple and so inspiring. No bells no whistles, just tune and play . I did watch a few videos on open G tuning and some basic chords to help get my head around it but that was it . Dig out one of the 10 slides I bought over the years, and low and behold for the first time ever with a slide I actually made a some good sounds 😃 This thing is a blast can't wait to play it again tomorrow

Light as a feather yet great tone. Primarily used to play for fun at home with my spouse. Sounds great with a slide and is super easy to barre chords.
