Les Paul With Figured Maple Top and Back
The strikingly figured maple top and back of this instrument not only elevate its visual appeal but also enhance its tonal response. Maple's density adds brightness and articulation, ensuring clarity in lead lines and chord voicings. Combined with the chambered mahogany body, this pairing produces a balanced sound that emphasizes warmth and resonance while offering definition across all frequencies. The natural tonal properties of these woods make the Les Paul Supreme electric guitar a standout for players seeking both sonic depth and visual elegance. The gloss nitrocellulose finish accentuates the figuring, creating a refined aesthetic that complements its tonal sophistication.
Gibson 490R and 498T Humbuckers for Players Seeking the Best Tone
Fitted with Gibson's 490R and 498T humbuckers, this model delivers dynamic tonal versatility with an emphasis on power and clarity. The 490R in the neck position offers warm, smooth tones that are ideal for rhythm playing, while the 498T in the bridge provides a high-output response perfect for cutting lead lines and heavier styles. Both pickups are wound for precision, ensuring articulate note definition even under high gain. Paired with individual tone and volume controls, these pickups enable nuanced sound shaping to suit a variety of musical contexts. This configuration provides players with a rich palette of tones that remain bold and clear, regardless of settings.
Advanced Gibson Electronics for Seamless Performance
This guitar's intuitive electronics layout is designed for precision and ease of use. Dual tone and volume controls allow players to fine-tune their sound, while the three-way toggle switch facilitates quick transitions between pickup combinations. The Les Paul Supreme's wiring harness is engineered to minimize noise, ensuring clean signal output in both studio and live environments. This thoughtful design empowers players to explore tonal variations effortlessly while maintaining focus on their performance. Whether dialing in warm, vintage sounds or modern, cutting-edge tones, the electronics provide reliability and accuracy throughout every adjustment.
Chambered Mahogany Body for Lightweight Comfort
The chambered mahogany body of this model offers enhanced resonance and reduced weight, creating an instrument that is both sonically rich and physically comfortable. The chambers are strategically carved to maximize sustain while maintaining the warmth and depth Gibson guitars are known for. Paired with a SlimTaper neck profile, the lightweight construction ensures smooth playability during extended sessions, whether in the studio or on stage. Gold hardware and multi-ply binding add durability and polish to the design, while the ebony fingerboard ensures long-term stability and a smooth playing surface. Together, these features make the Les Paul Supreme an enduring choice for demanding players.

I purchased the Les Paul Supreme in Wine Red after demoing it at my local guitar center. I had them order and ship to store. Out of the box it was terrific. Other than tuning it up quickly, the neck relief and action were spot on. No cosmetic issues and looks fantastic. At home with my own rig I am very pleased with this guitar. It is a nice weight (8 lbs 2 oz) and well balanced. The pickups are a bit bright but suit hard rock well. I don't think I will use the coil taps much but they are fine to include and the pure bypass is a great inclusion. It's playability compares very favorably to my other high end guitars including a 1959 reissue Les Paul standard which is probably my best guitar. Looks a little dark in the photo but that is due to lighting - in person it is mostly a nice deep wine red.

I read the reviews - it is a modern, precision made, great sounding, and overall quality - wine red is spectacular as are the inlays. The setup was great out of the box, I made a few tweaks but overall a really great instrument, Love the compound ebony fretboard and the inlays.
It's a keeper. I only need one,
