Introducing The NEW Gibson Les Paul Supreme Series

Introducing The NEW Gibson Les Paul Supreme Series

Description

The Gibson Les Paul Supreme electric guitar reimagines one of the most iconic silhouettes in modern music with refined playability, expanded tonal flexibility and premium visual appointments. Built with a mahogany body and plain maple top, this Les Paul delivers the sustain, weight and authority players expect, while a SlimTaper mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard with a 10–16" compound radius enhance speed and precision. A Burstbucker Pro Rhythm pickup in the neck and Burstbucker Pro+ in the bridge provide dynamic humbucker tones, complemented by push/pull coil tap, phase and Pure Bypass controls for expanded versatility. Finished in Ebony with gold hardware, the Gibson Les Paul Supreme electric guitar blends classic Les Paul character with modern performance and elevated styling.

Maple-Topped Mahogany Body With Modern Weight Relief

A plain maple top paired with a mahogany body delivers the familiar tonal balance associated with the Les Paul platform—strong sustain, focused mids and articulate attack. Ultra-modern weight relief reduces overall mass while preserving tonal depth, making the instrument more comfortable during extended sessions. The result is a responsive voice that remains dense and authoritative while offering improved physical balance.

Burstbucker Pro Pickups With Expanded Switching

A Burstbucker Pro Rhythm pickup in the neck and Burstbucker Pro+ in the bridge deliver dynamic output with clarity and articulation. Push/pull volume controls enable coil tapping for brighter, more focused tones, while push/pull tone controls activate phase switching and Pure Bypass for additional tonal options. This expanded control layout allows the Les Paul Supreme to move between classic humbucker warmth and more articulate voices.

SlimTaper Neck With Compound-Radius Ebony Fingerboard

The mahogany neck features Gibson’s SlimTaper profile for fast, comfortable playability across the fingerboard. An ebony fretboard with a 10–16" compound radius supports both comfortable chord work near the nut and precise bending higher up the neck. A modern contoured heel improves upper-fret access, while mother-of-pearl Super Split Block inlays and a chandelier-style headstock inlay reinforce the Supreme’s premium aesthetic.

Premium Hardware and Refined Construction

Locking Grover tuners with Keystone buttons provide dependable tuning stability, while a Graph Tech nut supports consistent performance. An aluminum Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum stopbar tailpiece enhance sustain and resonance. Multi-ply binding on the top and headstock, along with single-ply fretboard binding, completes the guitar’s refined presentation.

A Modern Flagship With Classic Les Paul Authority

The Gibson Les Paul Supreme electric guitar retains the unmistakable tone and feel that define the Les Paul platform while introducing expanded tonal flexibility and modern playability. Finished in Ebony with gold hardware and supplied with a hardshell case, the Les Paul Supreme delivers a premium interpretation of a timeless design for players seeking performance, versatility and visual distinction.

I purchased the Les Paul Supreme in Wine Red after demoing it at my local guitar center. I had them order and ship to store. Out of the box it was terrific. Other than tuning it up quickly, the neck relief and action were spot on. No cosmetic issues and looks fantastic. At home with my own rig I am very pleased with this guitar. It is a nice weight (8 lbs 2 oz) and well balanced. The pickups are a bit bright but suit hard rock well. I don't think I will use the coil taps much but they are fine to include and the pure bypass is a great inclusion. It's playability compares very favorably to my other high end guitars including a 1959 reissue Les Paul standard which is probably my best guitar. Looks a little dark in the photo but that is due to lighting - in person it is mostly a nice deep wine red.

I read the reviews - it is a modern, precision made, great sounding, and overall quality - wine red is spectacular as are the inlays. The setup was great out of the box, I made a few tweaks but overall a really great instrument, Love the compound ebony fretboard and the inlays.

Best looks plays like a dream. Awesome guitar to add to the collection. Les Paul Gibson doesn't get any better. Nice to have something that will appreciate with age. Very happy with such a beautiful guitar. Waited a long time for this purchase.
