The Epiphone Hummingbird Studio acoustic-electric guitar fuses iconic vintage design with enhanced contemporary features. Derived from the legendary Gibson Hummingbird, the Epiphone Hummingbird Studio is made from a solid spruce top with mahogany back and sides. These woods deliver a rich, balanced tone, while the Fishman Sonitone preamp and Sonicore pickup provide natural amplification suited for any stage.
The Hummingbird Studio's square-shouldered dreadnought body and distinctive pickguard mirror the famous 1960 Gibson Hummingbird that shaped rock and roll. Premium tonewoods, including a solid Sitka spruce top, mahogany back and sides, and mahogany neck resonate with woody depth and clarity. A 24.75" scale ebony fingerboard offers smooth playability, while parallelogram inlays and single-ply binding provide a vintage-inspired style.
Onboard Fishman Sonitone preamp and Sonicore undersaddle pickup make the Hummingbird Studio stage-ready. Simply plug into an amplifier or PA system to fill any venue with a vibrant amplified tone. An easy-to-access volume control and tone knob provide discrete adjustment of EQ and volume levels, allowing you to shape your sound to suit any musical situation.
Grover Rotomatic tuners keep the Hummingbird Studio in tune through dynamic performances and long practice sessions. A compensated rosewood bridge and Graph Tech NuBone nut and saddle enhance sustain, and ensure precise intonation up and down the ebony fingerboard. Light gauge Gibson strings come standard for a slinky feel and balanced tension.
