Built with RANE's industrial-grade hardware, the FOUR ensures pristine audio fidelity and the rugged reliability needed for demanding gigs and livestreams. Its intuitive design and innovative features make it a powerful tool for pushing the boundaries of modern DJ performance.

STEM-SPLIT Functionality for Advanced Mixing on DJ Controller

The RANE FOUR introduces STEM-SPLIT, a feature that revolutionizes your ability to isolate and manipulate track elements in real-time. STEM-SPLIT sends the instrumental to one deck and the vocal to another, letting you mix and remix with unprecedented precision. This functionality is supported by dedicated Instrumental and Acapella buttons, giving you instant control over your stems without breaking the flow of your set. Whether creating live mashups or building intricate transitions, STEM-SPLIT empowers DJs to experiment like never before, unlocking new levels of creativity and audience engagement.

Performance Pad OLED Displays for Visual Precision

This DJ controller is equipped with advanced Performance Pads featuring OLED displays. These high-resolution displays provide real-time feedback, showing key information like pad modes, loop lengths, and parameter changes. This level of visual precision allows DJs to focus on their performance without relying solely on their software interface. By streamlining access to essential functions, the pads enable smooth transitions between cue points, rolls, and effects. The combination of tactile control and visual clarity ensures every mix is executed with confidence and accuracy.

Dynamic FX Engine for Expressive Soundscapes

The internal FX engine on the RANE FOUR offers a wide range of effects to enhance your sound. With dual dedicated FX sections, DJs can adjust parameters like frequency, beat divisions, and wet/dry mix using intuitive OLED displays and control knobs. This setup supports layering effects for a richer, more immersive mix. Whether adding subtle textures or dramatic transitions, the FX engine provides the tools to shape your tracks with precision. The result is a dynamic, expressive performance that captivates listeners and elevates your set.

Industrial-Grade Build for Long-Term Reliability

True to RANE's reputation, the FOUR is built with industrial-grade materials to withstand the demands of professional use. Its robust metal chassis and high-quality components ensure durability during transport and intense performances. Reinforced controls, including knobs, faders, and buttons, are engineered for longevity, maintaining their responsiveness over time. This rugged construction guarantees consistent, reliable operation, making the FOUR a trusted companion for DJs who require equipment that can handle the rigors of frequent gigs and travel.

I was always a pioneer guy. Unfortunately, my DDJ SX3 broke on a gig and had to get a new controller. I came across the Rane Four and thank god I did. This controller is perfect for stem users. As there are so many features you can use! DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS CONTROLLER!

  • Rane One to Rane Four

The guys i DJ with are primarily Pioneer users. I began my DJ journey on a Numark NS6ii and am transitioning from the Rane One to the Four. This unit with the onboard effects and STEM split is a game changer for me. The still-motion platters are no distraction for me. I typically play house, neo-soul, R & B and SOME hip-hop. I am not a scratch-DJ, so the ease of scratching in comparison to the One, I cannot measure. However, the guys i DJ with have made incredible scratch patterns on the One as well as the Four.

I switched my main deck from a Pioneer DDJ1000SRT to Rane 4. I played the first time on it last nite and thought I'd give my $0.02. VERY fun to play with but I can tell you now… If you're not well versed in the Rane ecosystem, I would get a LOT of practice on it before attempting to go out on paid gigs. It has a ton of features and was a blast once I got into it some. I've played on the Rane72 MK2 battle mixer doing house music which is a world different than cutting and mixing with different musical genres. I have my work cut out for me. Of course, the main feature on this mixer is the Stems dedicated hardware. The possibilities are nuts once you've gotten broken in. Again I would make sure to get acclimated to it before hitting a live environment. The crossfader, channel up-faders, and pitch faders have a lot smoother throw than the Pioneer. Just picking up and handling the Rane unit it's wild how cheap feeling the Pioneer is when picking it up immediately after. Just spinning and listening the jog wheels while it's off allows you to hear the difference in sturdiness and build. That's the difference between plastic and metal construction. The sound card is a huge upgrade from the Pioneer. In clarity as well as volume. I was kind of in disbelief when looking at the external mixer. All settings were exactly where I had them a week ago for the Pioneer, yet I found myself backing off the gain to accommodate the Rane. The mic preamps were nice too but I was spoiled with the Pioneer on-board mic effects. I use reverb for vocals but the Rane only features echo, which is weird. Back to the external mixer for vocals I guess. All in all I know I'm gonna grow to love this thing. The question is whether I would upgrade if I didn't have to and my answer is honestly, probably not. Love my SRT. I personally would not have shelled out all this money if I wasn't forced to. Starting from scratch tho, looking at the SRT and the Rane 4, it would be the Rane all day long. Pros: Everything feels sturdy. Metal construction. Faceplate in front that can be open to device faders. Sound card is amazing. Great response on large platters. IEC power supply vs power brick. 1 million features and effects. Dedicated Stems hardware. XLR out for monitor/booth Cons: VERY busy mixer section. No reverb on mic No tension adjustment on jog wheels No available cases yet
