I would buy this again
Started using these needles on and off in 2010 and they lasted me for about 3.5 years. I've used them for scratching and juggling with Serato and finally the stylus wore out in the later years. Have a case that will protect them in case the handle of the needle brakes. I've been djing over 30 years with real vinyl records before i started using control vinyl. I'm on youtube using these needles so everyone's experience will be their own. However, shures do have a better sound. No contest there.

Not for Dj's
These break very easily. Ridiculously easily. Get a shure m447 and call it a day. I have been djing for 6+ years, and I will say that these sound awesome, but aren't dj friendly. Not for scratching , backspins , blending , or even general mixing. Definitely not worth the price.

Maybe people are using too much weight, because I've never had an issue. 3 TTs (MK2s & a Stanton), also use M44Gs. I do scratch, not to every song, I like to add little flairs here and there. DJ since '93, all styles of techno and some 80s. Only reason I am rating 4 is that it does have this very tiny bit of grunginess on the bass, so depending on which music you're playing, it add an extra depth. I like to use these when I play breakbeat, jungle or hardcore.
