MEINL Rainstick Black Extra Large

Description
The MEINL Rainstick is crafted from durable yet lightweight bamboo, this high-quality rainstick produces an array of captivating rain effects to enhance your percussion setup. Tap into its percussive potential as a large shaker for rhythmic parts or unleash its atmospheric talents for mood-setting rain washes. However you employ its talents, the MEINL Rainstick delivers outstanding projection and authentic sound.
Bamboo Construction Provides Robust Tone and Projection
The MEINL Rainstick's bamboo build gives it a pleasant, earthy tone with plenty of projection and long sustain. Bamboo's natural acoustics closely mimic the sound of falling rain or a flowing stream, with a resonance that lingers. Despite its generous size, the rainstick's bamboo construct also makes it lightweight and easy to handle.
Versatile Instrument Works as Shaker or Rainstick
This innovative rainstick pulls double duty in your setup. Play it traditionally as a rainstick for slow, atmospheric rain washes, or pick up the pace and use it as a large shaker for rhythmic parts. Either way, the MEINL Rainstick adds captivating percussive textures and ambient effects to your ensemble.
Beautifully Finished for an Attractive Addition
In addition to its acoustic talents, the MEINL Rainstick Black is a visually striking instrument. It features an attractively painted dot design that complements its sleek black finish. The rainstick's stylish appearance makes it an eye-catching accent for any percussion rig or recording studio.

Sounds like an actual rain forest.
I bought the large one of these to use on a recording with my shakuhachi and it sounded great! When the to sounds blended together, it sounded so natural and beautiful. Perfect for meditation. It sounds just like rain. One of the best buys I've ever made.

Finally own a rain stick
Sound is excellent. The ends are already start to peel off so had to use a hot glue gun to "put it back together". We'll see how long that lasts or if I need to do something else on the ends.
