Description

The vibeKAT contains all of the expression and dynamics of the legendary MalletKAT, but offers a simplified interface, plus 100 preset sounds developed for the (included) Ketron SD1000 sound module. Just like the MalletKAT, it is a powerful MIDI percussion mallet controller and uses true FSR sensing technology.

The concept of the vibeKAT is that each of its 100 User Kits are completely preprogrammed. Features like dampening and layering no longer need to be assigned. The user does not have to program any parameters in order to perform.

The vibeKAT Grand comes in a 4 octave configuration. The vibeKAT frame is white, and comes with 3/8" nuBounce pads that also have a specially coated black nylon top that protects the pads from scuffing and from fading in direct sunlight when played on the field.

    1)what does it weigh? 2) is a gigbag (soft case) availble? 3) It says on Altermodes websit that there isa a firmware upgrade chip availble. If I upgrade the the vibeKat to mallet kat 8.5 will I still be missing any Mallet kat funtionality? 4)what is the expected shipdate? Thanks

    Does the KAT Percussion Vibe KAT Grand (4-Octave Mallet Percussion Controller) come with any other products? Do we need to buy the stand or any mallet or do they come with the product? If not where can we buy a height adjustable stand?

    No accessories are included. I would suggest a keyboard stand. Please see "Musician's Gear KBX2 Double-Braced Keyboard Stand Black"
