Ingles Cello and Bass Stand
I bought this stand for my cello. I am very pleased with it. The stand is well made and sturdy. The neck of the cello is secured with a sort of gate that makes it very easy to remove and replace the cello in it's stand. One of the features that I particularly like is that you can put the cello away with the end peg fully extended. If I had to find a fault with the stand, I would like to have seen the bow holder peg placed to the side instead of the back. As it is, when the bow is holder is extended, the bow holder goes straight to the back. If the bow holder were at the side, then the stand could be placed closer to a wall. However, I am well satisfied with the stand. I wouldn't trade for any other I have seen.

Lower supports eventually bend and give way
When it is new, it fits the bass well, it is easy to use and looks fine. But after about 18 months, the curved lower supports start to give way and you have to bend them up constantly. The metal is too thin and was engineered poorly.

Fantastic equipment. Have multiple Ingles bass & violin/mandolin stands. My goto for instrument stands.

I bought this for my son's 1/4 size cello. Although it works, the cello is pretty high up the stand because the neck holder only goes down so far. It was bigger than expected, though not sure what I was expecting when it was also advertised as a bass stand-had to be pretty big! Nice quality though, and so far seems stable.
A solid, good looking and functional cello stand!

I use this stand mainly for securing my cello when it is not being used and protect it from damages due to accidental tripping etc. It fits very nicely at a corner in my practice room and it comes with a hook to hang my bow and/or a spare bow if I have more than one. I added foam padding to the neck support and the bottom where the cello rests for additional protection. The overall construction seem very solid and the height is adjustable so that I can keep the end pin extended when not in use.

The moment I opened it, I noticed a slight wiggle to the arm that helps hold up the cello. Didn't think much of it. Lo and behold, it snapped. Ever see metal snap? It was pretty surreal. Terrible welding job by the manufacturer. I do not recommend, and sadly you get what you pay for.
I love this stand!

where can you buy replacement parts? need new upper arm neck support part.
I’m sorry, I don’t know, we don’t carry those types of parts. Perhaps an inquiry to Inglrs.
