    Die cast hoops bring consistency in tuning and tone. It also helps with overtone. I bought fo my Tama Birch Snare. It's perfect

    Replaced the factory hoop on my DW brass snare because when I tightened the head it would shift in the hoop. This cured the problem. Head fits perfectly in the cast hoop and makes tuning a breeze.

    I have a hand made snare drum and it has a great sound, but now is fantastic! I can hear each note, articulated! I really recomend!!
