Road-tested in arenas around the world, the EVH Wolfgang Special QM electric guitar is designed with stunning style, giant sound and high-speed playability. It features a basswood body with an arched quilt maple top and a robust graphite-reinforced bolt-on quartersawn baked maple neck. The neck is carved and rolled to Eddie Van Halen's exact specifications, and features a hand-rubbed satin urethane finish on the back for added comfort. Primed for high performance, energetic riffing and blazing leads, the 12"–16" compound radius baked maple fingerboard has 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays. 

A pair of custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbucking pickups are mounted directly to the body, providing dynamic yet articulate voicing, as well as endless sustain for powerful chords and melody lines. A sturdy and dependable EVH-branded Floyd Rose locking trem and Floyd Rose locking nut work in tandem for precise tuning even with extreme changes in pitch, while the EVH D-Tuna retunes to drop-D and back with strict accuracy at the flick of a finger.

    I received my Wolfy at guitar center and thoroughly checked it out. Well packed and not scratch anywhere. The set up was perfect… haven't put it down yet.. had my first band rehearsal with it, the Mates loved it… my LesPaul is jealous!

    EVH guitars really should get a lot more press than they do -- extremely comfortable neck, a fast neck, amazing pickup sound, nice guitar weight, stays in tune always, very easy to setup, even easier to play.

    The guitar feels great. It could've come with a better set up and hard case but over all I am very happy with my purchase. It plays better than my Mexican made Charvels for sure. I really like that this guitar was built for a dtuna. I'm very happy with my purchase.

    I play casually and with a praise team. This guitar fits all of my needs. Sonically, it's versatile. Plays easily. I have a striped series EVH as well and this one plays virtually identical to that guitar. Smooth. Nice sounding pickups. Definitely a great purchase.

    This guitar came wrapped safe as it could be and was almost in tune when it arrived. The fret quality is really good. Is has like the most minor fret sprout and I think it's just cause of the wood curing over time. The only BAD thing I have to say is between the Nut and the first fret somebody dented the edge of the neck, and it bothers me. It almost looks like it had a knot, and somebody put glue and sawdust in it.

    The guitar will ship in a factory sealed box. It will be set up and inspected by EVH.
