    I love this snare head, I use multiple types of sticks and brushes and I favor a black coating cause it doesn't show brush marks, and it's an amazing head in general, great response, tunes to suit any style, I love Aquarian they are super durable and their coating is outstanding!

    I had the original drum heads that came with my set and the snare drum didn't have that nice crisp sound I wanted. Now with my new Jack snare head it has the sound I was looking for. I would definitely recommend it.
