Created specifically in a 21" size to pay homage to Armand Zildjian, the Zildjian A Series Custom 20th Anniversary Ride is a medium thin cymbal which delivers a sharp ping and nimbly transitions to a glassy crash. Ideally applied for alternative or pop rock, country, funk, R&B or Latin styles, the A Custom 20th Anniversary Ride Cymbal was developed by the Zildjian Sound Lab to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Zildjian A Custom Series. If the warm sustain and excellent stick definition aren't convincing enough, this 21" cymbal will be produced with white ink.

Love this ride for its versatility-great ping while still being crashable, and it looks great with white logos on brilliant finish. Would definitely buy again.

awesome ride, had to pick one up (zildjians with white ink??) and i love it. my other cymbals are zildjian k/k custom hybrids, and the a custom ride somehow fits in the mix very well. its an incredibly versatile cymbal. its really more wet than dry but you can get amazing sounds all around depending on how you play with it. i haven't recorded with it yet, but i imagine it would sound great in a mix, has a nice cut but isnt overbearing, doesn't have nonsense frequencies ringing off even when you hit it like a crash. try it out in a store first if you can, i wasnt expecting the sound to be like it is, but im definitely not disappointed lol

I've been searching for the perfect ride cymbal for about 2 years now.One that has a great ride quality, great bell, and has an amazing crash ability.I love a lot of rides but the big characteristic i was looking for was that it could crash.I hate rides that when i crash it, it sounds gongy and really washy. I've done my research and i was stuck between the Zildjian sweet ride, the Zildjian 21'' k kustom hybrid, and the Zildjian anniversary. i went to my local music store and tried out all 3 of them. i loved them all but the anniversary won in my case.I loved the ride quality(very warm sounding), it had a large bell that when you hit it its clear but not to loud, and the crash was just the best compared to the sweet ride and the hybrid.Plus it looks cool with the white riding(limited edition). When i played it live at church it cut through but didnt over power the band.If your searching for the perfect ride cymbal you cant just go off the recordings, try them out! This is the BEST AND PERFECT RIDE CYMBAL of course in my opinion. So consider this as one of your options because you wont regret it! :)
