Very Good Amp - But YAMAHA - upgrade needs the following:
I bought this amp for use at the beach or a park. The sound is excellent. Great you can plug an electric or folk guitar into it. But Yamaha - please read this review. The upgrade to this amp needs the following to make it totally top notch: 1. Please add a wah wah sound choice 2. Reverb and Echo - Yamaha - make the upgrade where the user has more flexibility in adjusting the range of these effects without using the tap button. I want to be able to get more "echo" and "reverb," but can't the way it is made. 3. Bluetooth audio sound - is very good, but make the upgrade with even "more bass sound." Yamaha - I hope you listen to these suggestions. This is a very good amp, but "make it even better." For paying over $500 for this amp, I want more features - YAMAHA - upgrade needs a wah wah sound choice, more range on Echo and Reverb on the deep end, even more bass on the Bluetooth and put a "looper" on this for recording yourself and being able to play to what you recorded.

Looks nice, but..
Seems a bit pricey compared to Positive Grid, who offers a bit more for less. Price may be the only thing holding me back. My Fender was wonderful, but had two in a row with Bluetooth issues, so returned both, but loved em otherwise..

Great for small apartments!

This is my choice for a premium practice amplifier. The portability wireless features make it easy to take to friends and family. When combined with the app the amp can get gritty enough to play metal with active pickups. The Line 6 G10T11 Relay is also awesome and works well with the amp.

Love the series in general, have the 10 watt and 39 watt versions in the past. Good plus is this 30 watt version doesnt rattle terribly like the lower watt version when the master volume pushed passing half way. The rechargeable battery is hame changer, happy overall. Only reason why not giving 5 star is because the modern high gain or special tone has a weird noise gate cutout almost like the tremolo is always on, when playing a riff and hold it it cuts out on and off it feels like, Over all i love the portability and sound quality,
This monster can do so much from a little box!

This little thing just blew me away. It has SO many features and you can dial in a variety of tones. The bluetooth works really well for jamming along with songs. The battery life holds up quite well and can last for hours. The quality of the construction of this thing feels very solid. I've gotten quite a few compliments about this thing from my neighbors and also some friends I jam with. It compliments my New Les Paul the best. Every note just rings out like it's supposed to. Its very convenient to travel with and take to someone else's place to play. It's great for practicing ,honing your skills ,inside a small apartment, townhouse or even the bedroom.

I mainly use this little monster to practice at home, but the portability has me taking it around to friends places when they ask me to bring my guitar. From the most brutal chugs on my 7 string to the cleanest acoustic sounds. This little guy does it all. #sweepstakes

All the sounds from this practice amp are much better than two other practice amps I have. Even if I have this sitting on the floor, the sound is almost 'surround-sound' quality. It's very flexible in its uses too. I mainly use this to practice along with backing tracks.
An amazing portable amp that can do it all

I've been using it outdoors and parks and people love it! Even inside my house when I don't feel like using my tube amps it's fun to play around. Especially with the long battery life!

I bought the amp today. What transmitter do I buy that will make it wireless using my guitar. It does not come with the wireless transmitter. Please give me model numbers of choices of transmitters I can buy to make it play wireless. Thank you.

I would like to know more about this product for BASS.
This would not be a good amp for bass. It's a guitar amp and 3" speakers will not handle bass frequenciessubmitted4 years ago

Can an Electric Bass also be used for this amp?
It will "work". It's not recommended and won't sound very good. In a case like this you risk damaging the speakerssubmitted4 years ago
