Small Bucks, Big Bang...
The alternatives to this kick pad were twice the price, and having had good experience with Yamaha over 40 plus years, I gave it a try. Glad I did. Very sturdy design and construction, easy to assemble and adjust, stable on a very uneven floor. Perfectly responsive to subtle or tromping play. And the extra trigger 'thru' port came in handy for me as well. Two big toes up.

I use this to hook up to my Alessia nitro drum set for double bass. Works great ! The quality is very good and the price was very reasonable. Pre-ordered and prepaid for the product and picked up at guitar center. Very helpful crew and very knowledgeable.

I added this kick tower to my alesis nitro mesh kit and the difference is night and day. Double kick is impossible with the tower that comes with the kit. This tower is plug and play and it catches every stroke. Def worth the $$$
Works great on Alesis nitro

Bought this to replace the kick pad on my alesis nitro, plugged right in and works great with no problems. I play heavy metal and even during the fast double bass it's registered all my hits. It's built very well and is also much quieter than the alesis pad, with no rattling noise or anything. Velcro is very strong and haven't had it slide out at all while playing.
It does the job required.

The product is well built and solid. A bit short in width for double Kick pads.

Will the kp65 work with a Roldand TD8 module? Thanks in advance
It may. It will very possibly be inconsistent. It’s not a good idea to mix brands of e-drums.submitted8 months ago
