Overview

When it was introduced in 1966, the Yamaha FG proved that a great acoustic guitar didn’t need to cost a fortune. With a focus on great playability, musical tone and outstanding build quality, the original FG180 quickly became a classic with countless careers and hit records starting life on an FG. Case sold separately.

50 years since the introduction of the FG acoustics, the new range features the best-ever FG tone and the same great playability and class-leading quality that’s made it the choice of millions of guitarists. Wherever your musical journey’s going, it all starts here.

Yamaha's standard acoustic model, with simple and traditional looks and outstanding quality, at an affordable price. A solid-top guitar with authentic sound that is well balanced without sacrificing its robust strength, thanks to the newly developed scalloped bracing design. In addition to warmer and stronger sound thanks to the mahogany back and sides, the body binding and fingerboard binding are cream plastic, for an upgraded look.

Comments about Yamaha FG820 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

Thia guitar is on of the best guitar that i know off. The model itself makes the sound rich, bright and clear. If you want even a better sound and tone, I say replace the stribgs with Elixir nanoweb medium strings. Then, it sound as good as or even better than Taylor and martin guitarls

Comments about Yamaha FG820 Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar:

First of for the price nothing can beat it, quality of the sound, quality of construction, for a begginer or if you are advance guitarist i would recommend it. But this guitar has still room for improvement. I suggest if you gig a lot change the strings with a good branded strings, coz it will improve the sound quality of the guitar and it will also stay in tune all the time. Other than that it's all good.
