They are okay. Remind me of akg240mk2. Subdued mid compared to 7506. Clean bass. S-Logic works to add ambience. Rather uncomfortable. Much better sound quality than yamaha and audiotechnica I test drove in the store. I kept them, but pine for my Sonys....why was first review deleted , creating a 5 star rating and 60$ price increase since 1/20 ? Sound is clear and well represented. Frq. response seems off. Do not recommend for long term listening they are fatigue the head and ear from tight headband.

I use mine mainly for mixing in FL Studio on my laptop. These are a very good set of headphones.

I went into Guitar Center planning to buy a pair of DT770s as a gift for a friend. As I was testing out headphones, I found these beauties. I was so impressed that I bought us both a pair. Sound-wise, they have a nice sparkle without being harsh and have quality mids and lows although they lack a little in the sub-bass compared to my HD6 (to be fair, basically everything lacks in sub-bass compared to those). They have decent but not amazing clarity. The thing that makes these headphones most impressive is the soundstage. I've never heard closed-back headphones with a soundstage like this. It almost feels like I'm listening on external speakers sometimes. I would recommend these above every other headphone in the $100 price range for listening pleasure. I don't think they're accurate enough to mix with but they sure are fun to listen to.

Ultrasone makes the best headphones in my opinion, and these are no exception. For the price there isn't any better pair out there.
