I purchased two of these and have been practicing with them daily. The very first day one of the balls broke open at the glue seal. I glued it shut and it was fine. Over several days two other balls broke open at the seam and I glued those shut. Yesterday one of the previously re-glued balls broke. A small piece broke off just above the seam. I have been practicing a lot, but not more vigorously than necessary. I don't think they are worth the price I paid; more like a toy than an instrument I could use in my band. Boo.
Probably won't buy them again

I have playing asalatos for many years and wanted to try these wooden ones out. I played them like any other set and they broke the first day I had them. Not built to last.

This shaker is light and adjustable! If you have small hands like mine just move the knots to make it shorter. Great sound! I'm still learning this skill but I'm SO happy I bought this.
