    We got this stand for my God daughter who is starting out on Violin, and she loves it. It has allowed her to keep the instrument out for longer periods of time, which has already lead her to playing it more often. That outcome alone was worth every penny!

    We bought this stand for a child's violin. It is adjustable in several ways so that it fit a 1/10 size violin. The stand is good. The reason for a 4-star review instead of a 5-star review is that the rubber pieces on the stand have a strong, unpleasant smell. It will probably diminish over time and probably will not bother someone who is not sensitive to smell. But I am sensitive to smell and wish that the smell wasn't quite so strong out of the box.

    Bought this so our fiddle playin pastor wouldn't have to lean his fiddle up in the corner. He says he loves it.

    Yes. The stand holds the violin by the headstock, rather than the bottom so it works with any size.
