    Bought this stand for my son. He's planning on teaching music and needs to be proficient at most instruments. I'm a firm believer that an instrument in a case is less likely to be played than one in the open. This stand is sturdy and even passed the curious kitty test. Best of all, it gets picked up at least once a day, most weeks.
