Great Bass with a few tweaks

We needed an acoustic bass for small gigs. I tried the Breedlove and it was awful. It sounded dead and not resonant at all. Also tried one of the Ibanez acoustic bass units and it was better, but the neck was a mess. The GC rep recommended this one. Right out of the box there was a huge difference. Very resonant, lots of sustain and a great fit with the other acoustic guitarists. Build quality was excellent. It did come with some fret buzz, but a little adjustment in the neck and it was gone. It has a giant body, which was perfect for our bass player (he's 6'3" tall) and it looked appropriate in his hands. We did not have the tuner issues mentioned in some of the reviews. We've only been using it for about 3 months and it's a go to whenever we need an acoustic assembly. The overall sound is really resonant and full. The body size does lead to some feedback if you accidentally turn towards the amp. Finding a sound hole cover to help prevent that has been a challenge as the sound hole is bigger than standard. Finding a case was tough - Had to contact ESP (they bought Takamine) and they shipped one that fits snug so it's safe in transport.

Not a bad acoustic bass. Needs some adjusting but not terrible setup from factory. The electronics are so-so. Sound is good with decent sustain for an acoustic bass. Though the Tuner doesn't pick up the E string and has a difficult time if there's a lot of ambient noise in the room. Not a bad entry level bass but don't expect more than that
I loved this bass but....

I loved this bass but tuner did not work most of the time. Also while plugged into amp would work on and off. I don't think this a normal problem for this guitar. Guitar center was great in the return process. They would have ordered another one but I opted for another great deal they had in store.

I've been wanting to get an acoustic bass guitar for some time, but never could quite pull-the-trigger. Saw this, and felt like it was the right instrument, and the price was unbeatable. Am SO HAPPY that I got it! It's a beautiful bass, the workmanship is great, and I'm having a lot of fun playing it!
Nice Accoustic Bass

I've been keeping my eye out for a nice Accoustic Bass for some time. When I saw this one on sale in an email flyer, it was a quick purchase. Plays well, but like most acoustics you do have to deaden other strings to keep them from ringing. Not the guitars problem though.
