The short answer is: No, the Shure SLXD2 handheld transmitters with Band G58 will not work with an SLX-D receiver that is Band G57. Here's why: Each Shure SLX-D component (receiver or transmitter) must match in frequency band to be compatible. The band designation (e.g., G57, G58) defines the RF frequency range that the unit operates in. G57 band operates on 470–514 MHz G58 band operates on 514–558 MHz The SLX-D system does not support cross-band compatibility—a G58 transmitter cannot connect to a G57 receiver. To make your setup work, you have two options: Option 1: Match Everything to Band G57 Buy all four transmitters (3 x B58, 1 x B87A) in Band G57 Buy the SLX-D Quad Receiver in Band G57 Option 2: Match Everything to Band G58 Buy the SLX-D Quad Receiver in Band G58 Buy all transmitters (3 x B58, 1 x B87A) in Band G58. Shure sells each product in multiple band variants—so be sure when ordering that all your components are the same band. The actual mic capsule (B58 vs. B87A) doesn't affect wireless compatibility—the band does.
