Commissioned by the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, this was the featured work at the 1987 International Children's Choir Festival in Washington, D.C. For three-part treble voices, Wonderful World is lilting and child-like as it describes the random travels of the wind and the natural beauty of this planet.
