Great FX cymbal
I have a huge set and a ton of cymbals and this is my second favorite cymbal i have, my first being my 24 inch AA Metal X ride. It has a great ping to it. I've had both a zil bel and this and i like this by far more.

It's okay
I am a huge fan of Sabian so when I saw that they had the alu bel, I didn't think twice before I bought it, I was disappointed. It's a very loud bell and can cut though any of my cymbals (Sabian APX) and drums ((5)Pearl Forum) But it doesn't sound anything like a zil-bel. Obviously though do to both being made of two different metals. But the alu is a much lower sound. I personally would recommend just hitting the bells on you cymbals or buying a zil-bel.

i bought this bell a few months ago and it has been doing justice for my kit. if your into heavy metal, this bell is for you. it cuts through the mix with the high end of the cymbal. when played alone, the bell has an INSANE sustain, which can be dampened with a tighter grib on the cymbal. however, when played with the band or in a mix, the sustain ceases to be heard. it cuts through the mix and falls back into place. great bell in my opinion.

This is anamazing bell. But everyone that compares it to the zil-bel is not going to like it because its a completely different type of bell. it insanely thick so theres no worry of breaking it and its stylish. its really high and pingy almost over welmingly loud. the ring last about close to 45 seconds but if you mix it to a heavy beat or drum fill its perfect. overall: high pitched ping, new type of sound, and really strong.

I recently got this cymbal at my local music store. One word to describe this, WOWZA!!! This bell has a nice ring and a pretty long sustain. I love it. Thanks, Sabian!
