Introducing Roland AIRA Compact | T-8 Beat Machine, J-6 Chord Synthesizer, E-4 Voice Tweaker

Getting to Know Roland AIRA Compact Series

Description
The Roland Aira Compact T-8 Beat Machine puts legendary TR-808, TR-909 and TB-303 sounds in your pocket. Powered by Roland's Analog Circuit Behavior technology, the T-8 provides six drum tracks and one bass track loaded with the boom, pop and sizzle that shaped music history. It's a miniature rhythm factory enabling you to craft acid jams, trap bangers and more with an intuitive 16-step sequencer and hands-on controls to stimulate ideas.
Genre-Defining Sounds
Build the foundation of your beats with sounds from the TR-808, TR-909, TR-606 drum machines and TB-303 Bass Line. The T-8 delivers the classic character of these Roland icons through the same Analog Circuit Behavior technology found in the TR-8S, TB-3 and other professional AIRA gear.
Beat Central
Comprehensive I/O makes the Compact T-8 Beat Machine the rhythmic centerpiece of any electronic music setup. Connect and sync with other AIRA Compacts like the J-6 Chord Synthesizer and E-4 Voice Tweaker. Or interface with DAWs, mobile apps and hardware via USB-C or MIDI.
Seven Tracks of Inspiration
Six drum tracks and one bass track come together in a player-friendly interface for fast recording and sound shaping. Capture and trigger 64 patterns of up to 32 steps each. Shape sounds and control parts with dedicated knobs and buttons as you create.
Classic Workflow, Modernized
Powered by Roland's legendary TR-REC step sequencer, the Compact T-8 Beat Machine makes it simple to develop ideas without stopping the music. Real-time recording, sub-steps and velocity provide expanded programming power at your fingertips. Advanced features like step loop, pattern shift and probability deliver dynamic performances with constantly evolving grooves.

I will use this for song writing and accompanying guitar and in conjunction with the J6. Both of these mini synths are fun and have a learning curve. But they are well constructed and can be connected with trs midi cables. I wish that Roland would include the owner manuals instead of downloads.
Cool little beat maker!

First of all, this thing is small enough to bring anywhere easily. It sounds great and is surprisingly powerful for such a tiny box. Roland has been on the forefront of drum machine design forever. I've owned more than I can count! This little guy is a welcome addition. The added bass synth is super useful and again, surprisingly powerful. The price is a steal. This thing ain't cheap, light weight plastic either, it has a nice solidity to it.
