I love this drum in 22 inch. It is sooooo powerful. i use it in my sound bath studio. The sound just vibrates throughout their whole body and mine too. It's an awesome experience and the sound it just, BOOM perfect. I recommend this to any drum lover who needs a powerful, deep bass in their lives. One strike of the mallet and you'll be in love!

I love this drum. I have the 16 inch Remo Buffalo drum also. I wanted to try the 22 and see if I was missing out on anything. The size is quite a big difference but the sound is just awesome. It blows the 16 inch away. It's a bit heavier but I can hold it into my body and it doesn't seem to bother me when I do that. It's a great drum and I'm glad I bought it.

The 16" has a great deep voice for journey work. I would have given 5 stars, but there is a small manufacturing error where the drum head meets the frame. Also, this drum is impervious to inclimate weather, and that does come in handy. While I still plan on purchasing an authentic drum, this one definitely does the job.
Beats anything I've ever tried (since 1973).

I like the fact that no change is needed in the tuning when the dampness in the air changes.

I purchased this drum for use in a drumming circle in a park and other locations. It has fabulous tones that sing. It was recommended by Barbara Bloecher at a Shammanic Workshop and was the one she used. She recommended the 14 or 16 in. drums for use in a circle. I and others have found this a moving instrument. I went into the local store to check them out and purchase. Eric was very helpful.
