I've played out of a lot of guitars from sg's, strats, les pauls, etc. and this is by far the finest instrument i've ever played. i have it with the artist package and tortoise shell finish through a marshall jcm and its a sound unlike any other. It's A LOT of money but you really do get what you pay for... the sound, feel, looks, everything. this guitar is the real deal!
PRS makes beautiful guitars, and the craftsmanship is unmatchable (Artist Package!) The factory set-up is perfect! Dragon 2 pickups give great dynamic tone on the 1,3, and 5 channels (from warm to hot). The 2 and 4 channels provide more of a clean/acoustic sound. The sustain on this guitar is amazing, even with a tremolo. The wide/fat fret board feels very comfortable, and the high frets are very accessible (better then Strat or Les Paul). PRS should be ranked #1 out of the big 3 manufacturers.
This guitar is sweet. My dad bought me one aboout a year ago and it has been my prized possesion. I totally reccomend that you get this guitar rather than the gibson because gibsons are so common so it will be less quality. Paul Reed Smiths are alot less common so the quality will be better.
I bought my PRS Custom 22 about 1 year ago. It is my main guitar. I love it! It was so good that I sold a Les Paul for it. The guitar sounds amazing, looks beuatiful, and plays like a dream. It doesn't get any better than this!
This guitar is amazing. I've had mine for almost a year, and it's hands down the best guitar I've ever owned/played. It's tone is outstanding, although not quite as thick as an LP. I'd recommend one of these to anyone.
this guitar is one mean machine, ejole! This is my buddy, it is very seldom to find a nice guitar like this! It gives you a warm tone, fast playability, and the entire guitar is smooth and soft! this is by far the best on the market, the lord has truly given paul reed smith a guitar makin' gift!
Not much to say, I have owned many top name guitars over the last 40 years. This guitar hands down is the most versital guitar I have ever played. From rock to ballads, the feel and tone make this instrument easy for me to put so much more feeling in my songs when I play. It will do pretty much anything I ask of it. This is the guitar I finish my sets with.
