????

I dont understand one persons review saying that guitar center would take back a more expensive cord and not this one. if it died in a week like he says guitar center will take it back. I have bought really expensive stuff from guitar center and cheap stuff all the time and they treat it like everything else if your past 45 days (used to be 30) they will not exchange or except it back. It is yours. So it makes no sense that they would even take back the more expensive one I he bought 6 months down the road and not the cheap one in only a week. Don't listen to that hillbilly. I bought one of these. I have been playing 17 years. I am not Joe Satriani but I know a thing or two about jamming and having fun. Playing clean and knowing your capabilitys. There is nothing wrong with this cord if your using it for practice. Like many others saying you proabbly wanna use a monster studio cable same length runs $129. But that is a cable for someone doing live gigs on the road constantly and wants studio qaulity sound and a cable that can taqke a beating. If your not Jim Lindberg from pennywise this mic will work perfect for home practice. <~~~~~marshall 100 Watt JVC 900 4102, Ibanez S670QM-TGB, Martin D-15M Drednaught Acoustic, Senheiser E835 Dynamic mic, Fender Squire 80 watt PA. These are all perfect for practice. I can even set up a Cab under the combo Marsahll I am jamming. I will buy a monster studio cable later. This cable is perfect for what I am doing now.

Just Wait

I got several of these cables with a mic stage kit that looked like a great deal online. I soon discovered; however, that these cables are totally worthless. While the mics and stands were both passable, the cables just drove me insane. They are very low quality in every aspect. Sound quality is less optimal than with, say, a Livewire cable (which I use now) and they just don't hold up. Within literally two weeks I had one cable go out and the other was out within another week. After that, I went and bought 2 more because they are cheaper and like many people on a budget. Same thing. Finally I just went and bought a few Livewires and six months later have not had one go out, and, if they do, all I have to do is take them back to Guitar Center and they will replace them. End point, no matter your budget, don't settle for these cables. Save up for an extra week or two and get a $30-$40 cable that's replaceable and better made.

I needed a microphone cable and this one was perfect. I received the item in a very timely manner and it was packaged nicely. I was surprised when the package arrived only a few days after the purchase! Guitar center has a real good online structure and I will always consider them first.

  • I would buy again
