Moog

collapse expand iconDescription

Moog's Subsequent 25 synthesizer delivers the rich, sonic power that the brand is known for in their most compact and portable keyboard yet. The Subsequent 25 is a two-note paraphonic analog synth designed for musicians and sound designers on the go. Despite its small footprint, the Subsequent 25 generates huge, thunderous bass, percussive analog beats and harmonically complex leads.

Massive Analog Sound Engine

At the heart of the Subsequent 25 is a robust analog sound engine with double the headroom of the Sub Phatty, enabling a wider range of distortion and overdrive. Stack all three oscillators in Unison Mode to produce earth-shaking analog bass. Engage the Duo Mode to split Oscillators 1 and 2 and play two separate notes at once, opening new creative possibilities.

Instant Gratification With 32 Expertly Programmed Presets

The Subsequent 25 comes loaded with 32 carefully crafted presets to get you started. These presets were designed by Moog to showcase the broad range of sounds—from retro synth stabs to futuristic soundscapes—that can be achieved with the Subsequent 25. Use the presets as is or as a jumping-off point for your own signature sounds.

A Compact, Portable Design for Stage and Studio

Measuring under 2 feet wide and weighing only 15lb., the Subsequent 25 is Moog's most compact and portable full-size synthesizer. Its small footprint and lightweight body make it ideal for gigging, while still delivering the full sonic experience players expect from a Moog instrument. The Subsequent 25's design also lends itself well to studio work, as it won't overtake your workspace.

Full MIDI Implementation for Seamless DAW Integration

The Subsequent 25 features full MIDI implementation, allowing for MIDI automation and recall of all front-panel and under-the-hood parameters. Easily integrate the Subsequent 25 into your favorite DAW or analog modular setup using the onboard CV inputs and USB and DIN MIDI connections.

I use this for home recording studio particularly for the Moog bass sounds. I had great difficulty setting up to midi with my laptop. Moog customer service had limited guidance, Apple said it is 3rd party. the manuals and internet were not so clear

Best synth i have ever owned. i can make presets in like minutes with this machine and what a dream for saving sounds and that bass is textbook analog. Love how you can control the variable oscillators by lfo or step it by key presses.
