Plays and sounds great.
As an experienced musician, I picked up this bass in my local guitar center as my first bass guitar. I love this instrument, it sounds great, and it feels just as great to play on. The only problem I found with it is some fret buzz on the low E string. But besides that, I would recommend this guitar to a learner or a professional.

Decent Bass for Beginners
I picked this bass up almost a year ago as my first bass. It played great, for the price, besides having lots of fret buzz on the E string. After about 6 months, the bass wasn't making any sound at all when I plugged in to my amp, even though I tried using different cables, amps, etc. I took it back to my local Guitar Center, and they replaced it for free, since I had a warranty. The second bass I have had for about 5 months, and there has been no problems, yet (besides the fret buzz). Overall, this is a great bass for beginners, but if you have a little extra money to spend, I recommend getting a higher-end bass. I will soon be upgrading.

This bass is great to get used to the feel of the bass guitar. A thing I think is bad about it is that it isn't really good for being a slap bass. It generates a faulty, buzzing noise whenever you do try to slap it. Plus, when you slap it, it does not generate that much of a good sound. Apart from slapping, there is some fret buzz.
As good as itb gets at this price!

Just got this bass yesterday, worked great. Now today, when I plug it into my amp, all I get is crackling. It is not the amp as the amp is working great with my other guitars. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Try changing the battery. It could also be just a loose connection inside the guitar. If you feel comfortable, take a look inside or take it to a tech. Or give us a call.submitted5 years ago
