Professional working musician. I have used this on 30+ gigs so far. Lightweight, tight and punchy, good round bottom end. Slightly limited in tone shaping but keeping the tone dials between 11-1 O'clock always works well. It pairs perfectly stacked on a Markbass NYC 115 if I need extra volume. I play in blues, wedding, and rock/funk cover bands and this combo delivers! I can walk to my gig with bass on shoulder, and this cab in one hand. No problem. I highly recommended this combo. Sounds bigger than 210's. I like the top mounted recessed controls as it has a clean look on stage as well.

Purchased one of these brand new. Opened it straight out of the box at Guitar Center and played it for 10 minutes before it started smoking, shutoff, and wouldn't power back up. The sales person ordered me a brand new one. When it arrived I saw that it was manufactured in March of 2025. I played it for a minute at the store and it seemed fine. I took it to a gig a few days later and it didn't make it through the first three songs on a local blues gig at a medium sized blues club before it caught on fire! I wouldn't recommend this combo to anyone until Markbass fixes this issue. I'm a Markbass guy and this is really hurt me because I've been waiting on this combo…smh

I wanted to start playing with a drummer and eventual guitarist, so I got this amp to keep up. I was also looking to improve my bass tone and had been experimenting with a few different amp combinations. This amp is incredibly lightweight and very well made. The sound quality is outstanding. I play a 5-string with a low A/B and this amp has plenty of bottom end. The highs are super clean and crisp with the horn, just how I like it. My style is progressive metal/jazz/funk fusion, so I wanted something extremely clean with a little bit of growl to the mids. I use a preamp to help with getting an angrier tone when needed. No issues keeping up with drums and a live set, but I haven't played a show with it. There is a line out if needed for that. I do wish it had a headphone out, but that is my only complaint. The 4-band EQ is a lot more useful than a typical 3-band, but I use my preamp for EQ settings. I like the sound so much that I am looking to get the Markbass Micro 60 for a home practice amp as this one can't quite get quiet enough for late night jamming at home.
