Love the hi-hat stand !

Love the cam for a nice smooth playing action. The cam similar to a bass drum pedal intrigued me to give it a shot as it's something different which makes it a nice feature . The swivel legs make easy for double bass pedal set ups. If you're up to try something new and affordable , I give two thumbs up and five stars so far!

Made really CHEAP. Breaks easy!!!

This stand has a rod that has very little threads and it will bacl out often during play. I attampted to tighten and it broke off. Cheap pot metal has no place on a drum set unless you expect to fail. Very discusted with mapex and will not ever buy anything with that name ever again. DO NOT WAST YOUR MONEY ON CHEAP JUNK!!! Spend the extra for something made better. Happy drumming.

  • Too Loud

Have had this for a year now and while it looks good, its very loud on the pedal release (loud metal clinking) which is a major problem that get picked up by stage mics. I've also used this with an Ekit as well and it cancels the low volume your trying to achieve and distracting.

  • I will probably buy this product again.
