MONO Vertigo Bass Guitar Case Black

Description
The MONO Vertigo Bass Case is a first-of-its-kind solution for bass players seeking maximum protection and lightning-fast access. This rugged yet lightweight case features a top-loading design, allowing you to quickly unzip and remove your bass without needing to lay the case down. MONO's Vertigo case keeps your ax secure through the road-ready combination of their patented Headlock neck suspension system and a molded rubber sole they call The Boot.
Top-Loading Design Lets You Grab and Go
The Vertigo case opens unlike any other, allowing you to unzip and lift out your bass from the top in seconds. When inspiration strikes, the Vertigo has you ready to play in a flash.
Headlock Neck Support Automatically Engages
MONO's redesigned Headlock system provides unparalleled neck support without requiring any straps or buckles. Simply place your bass in the case and the neck finds a secure resting spot, then zip up the case and the Headlock's upper portion automatically clamps down to hold the neck firmly in place. Your headstock receives full impact protection from all sides, giving you peace of mind no matter how far the road takes you.
The Boot Shields Against Drops and Abrasions
Using technology adapted from athletic footwear, The Boot is a molded rubber sole attached to the bottom of the Vertigo case that provides military-grade drop protection and abrasion resistance. Your bass is cushioned within by a plush EVA insole, while The Boot's rugged outsole allows the Vertigo to withstand the harshest of treatment. Your strap buttons and all hardware remain protected from damage, no matter the surface.
Rugged Yet Refined, Inside and Out
Designed for a lifetime of travel, the Vertigo features industrial webbing handles, durable zippers, and a water-resistant Sharkskin outer shell. A spacious front pocket keeps essential accessories at your fingertips, while an optional MONO Guitar Tick Accessory Case (not included) provides extra storage space. Fitting standard bass guitars from Fender, Ibanez, Warwick and others, the Vertigo case from MONO raises the bar for on-the-go bass protection and performance.

One SERIOUS gigbag ! ! !
Ok - First - My mono was packed really well, bag in a box with paper packing to protect in shipping. Guitarcenter Wilmington DE handled my sale, and was meticulous about it! GREAT staff there! Thanks Jason! Have used My Mono Vertigo for 3 shows, and 3 jams, which I pack the van differently for. The shows fill the van most of the way, and limited "up top" space remains for instruments. This case is perfect for that. A double might be too much. that said, I find it light, easy to maneuver and has substantial padding/protection. I was pretty wowed, and it isn't excessively bulky or large. Definitely a little larger than my standard gigbags, which I was pretty happy with. I will still use them, and they are easily adequate. This is steps well above that though. I believe I would get another, and love the Boot. It stands upright on its own - and is easy to get into, and the pocket is adequate for what I need it for. I believe I will have this for quite a while. Good job Mono and GC! 5 stars, without a second of reconsideration.

I'll give it the test of time
Easy to carry. Feels rather flimsy for such an expensive case.

I can store my headphones and cables and my tuner in the case. Everything I need in one case. I play the bass at my church and I have everything I need in the case because it fits pretty much any necessity.

I have to state the obvious - it's expensive - but I love this case. Never felt comfortable going to shows and hauling around the city with traditional gig bags. The Mono case feels so much more solid and protective. And I love the bounce protection on the bottom. Not that I go around bouncing my bass ;-) but resting it on the ground (bottom down) is something you do constantly and it's kind of crazy to me that ALL gig bags don't have this type of padding there. If I could change anything it would be to add something to allow for hiding the backpack straps, or even removing them maybe. Not a big deal, but I don't use them for the most part. Now if they can just make one that fits a Fender Mustang bass!
The best bass case!!!!
