Description
The MEINL Headliner Series snare cajon is a high-performance cajon that delivers a full bass tone complemented by ultraresponsive snare slaps for versatile sound. Its MDF composite body provides a robust yet lightweight platform for the maple frontplate to resonate. The result is outstanding acoustic properties that allow each tone to develop fully before projecting. Two sets of internal fixed snares brush against the frontplate, reacting to even the gentlest of finger rolls and slaps. It also comes in several show stopping finishes.
Cutting-Edge Snares Raise the Bar
The MEINL Headliner Series snare cajon's snares are engineered to be highly sensitive, responding dynamically to a light touch or firm strike. Roll your fingers or slap the frontplate to activate the snares and cut through the mix. Adjust your playing technique to control the level of snare response. The fixed-snare design provides a consistent snapping tone with each hit.
Resonant Body Projects Every Note
The cajon's MDF composite body lends itself to robust resonance and an outstanding dynamic range. Each tone develops fully before projecting with volume and depth. Four rubber feet on the base help stabilize the cajon on any playing surface while also allowing it to resonate freely. The cajon's sleek matte finish gives it a stylish look on stage. Overall, the MEINL Headliner Series snare cajon offers impressive musicality, playability and portability.

It's a really good cajon but for me it became a night table. I had books on top of it and wasn't using it because when I play indoors my sister thinks it's loud. I got it to travel with too but realized I don't feel like carrying it. It's not too heavy but still. Then I realized after the fact I'm picky about taking it outdoors because I keep it in my room which has carpet and once outdoors on the concrete I wouldn't want it back on my carpet. Then if I play outside I didn't want anyone to see me playing and sitting with my legs open on a box ( I'm a girl) so all in all it just didn't meet my querks. But it's a great cajon if you're not as particular as me. I did like how small it was though because most of the other cajona my feet couldn't touch the ground and they were very wide and hurt my back. The top was also not narrow. There was another meinl cajon I saw that was tall and the top was narrow and half my butt was hanging off which wasn't comfy. Thiss was actually the perfect size for a 5 ft 2 lady 134 lbs. If you wear rings remove them because my ring chipped the paint.
