I don't write reviews but after last night I had to.... I will be throwing this (second) Livewire Snake purchase in the trash. This is my second one. I had to return the first one (within 90 days) monitor channels were glitchy. (Would go in and out) With this one, channel 15 has not been working and now 7 and 13 are out. Also buzzing in monitors "only" when I use the snake with my board. It comes and goes. It's simply awful.... Reeks havoc when you're doing a sound check. Trying to find a work around and you're running out of time because it's "showtime" within the next hour. I'd be the first to admit if "I" was doing something wrong using the piece of gear.... But I have no idea what that would be.... I have high quality cables take "very" good care of all my equipment.... It's maddening.... Probably going to have to move over to a digital rig and say goodbye forever to the need of a snake. Really frustrating.

Bought a second one for my church worship band for travel use and it's been great thus far. Solid, durable materials used to manufacture this. Having the four TRS 1/4 inch connectors is what made me buy this in the first place as I needed to use them for my aux sends on the mixer I use. #sweepstakes

We needed it for a show in Vegas, and it delivered. I'm not a seasoned sound guy, and this is the first snake I've owned, but wow does it make a difference for ease of set-up.

I am impressed with th build quality and really like the xlr/trs combo inputs. Works great with my 16 channel board and makes it much easier for the band to set up in my home studio.

Are the four TRS "cables" in the snake balanced signal channel identical to the XLRs? What I would like to do is run the mixer main L/R outputs to powered main amps using a TRS to XLR cable from the snake stage box to the main powered speakers.
