Line 6

Description

The Line 6 HX Stomp packs the high-performance modeling of the flagship Helix processor into an ultracompact pedalboard-friendly enclosure. With over 300 amps, cabs and effects—including a looper and IR loading—the HX Stomp provides a professional solution for guitarists and bassists in need of an all-in-one rig for any application.

Premium Helix Modeling in a Tiny Footprint

The HX Stomp utilizes the same powerful HX Modeling technology as the Helix to deliver authentic recreations of vintage and modern amps and cabs, as well as a massive range of stompbox and studio effects. You get six simultaneous processing blocks to craft complex signal paths with pristine audio quality, all in a pedal smaller than your average stompbox.

An Easy Workflow for Creativity

Despite its small size, the HX Stomp is intuitive to operate thanks to its simple controls, color LCD screen and three footswitches with LED rings. You have easy access to editing parameters, loading IRs and tweaking effects on the fly. Connect an expression pedal or external footswitches for additional control over volumes, modulation and more during performances or recording sessions.

Professional I/O Options

The HX Stomp features high-quality inputs and outputs to integrate seamlessly into any rig. Use the stereo effects loop to patch in other pedals, set up complex routing for reamping or wet/dry/wet configurations or go direct to front-of-house while feeding an onstage amplifier. With a max sample rate of 96kHz and 123dB of dynamic range, your tone will sound pristine whether recording direct or playing live.

A Complete Solution for Any Application

The HX Stomp packs everything you need for a backup rig, practice tool or full guitar/bass setup in one compact pedal. Load it up with your favorite Helix presets or build custom tones from scratch—the possibilities are endless. With its small size and rugged build, the HX Stomp is ideal for travel, fly gigs or tight pedalboards where every" of space counts.

I currently use this as the main brain of my pedalboard. Reverb, Delays, Modulation as well as amp/cab sim. My current setup is JHS Pulp n Peel>Dunlop mini volume>TC Elec. Brainwaves>HX - > (FX Loop: Special Cranker > Tumnus > JHS PG 14 > Walrus Slarp). For amps I run into either AC10, Fender Acoustic jr go, or to FOH. This pedal is amazing. It does everything. In fact, I have it removable from my board with patches to run it on its own. There aren't really many more versatile stomps than this. I use to have the Zoom G3, which was great, but this is miles better, in an even smaller footprint. I will probably keep this thing around on any pedalboard due to its amazing versatility.

Since COVID has kinda made gigs evaporate, I wanted a handy, great-sounding solution for practicing and recording at home. The HX Stomp completely NAILS that niche, and is the first modeler I've played through that FEELS like an amp.

  • Great Pedal!
