Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBX IV Matte Blue Frost

Description
The Jackson X Series Spectra Bass SBX IV takes you on an exciting bass journey with its sleek offset body, flexible electronics and rock-solid construction. This versatile 4-string electric bass guitar provides exceptional comfort, balance and modern style for gigging bassists.
Sleek Offset Body Design Provides Comfort, Balance and Style
The SBX IV features an offset Spectra body shape innovatively designed for the performing musician. Its contoured nyatoh body with a larger upper horn evenly distributes weight across the instrument for perfect balance. This improves playing comfort whether you're standing on stage or seated in the studio. The offset design also gives the SBX IV an eye-catching modern aesthetic.
Dual Humbucking Pickups and 3-Band EQ Offer Versatile Tone Shaping
For flexible tonal options, the SBX IV is equipped with a pair of Jackson medium-output humbucking pickups and a 3-band EQ. The humbuckers provide a dynamic foundation with punch, power and clear note articulation. The dedicated bass/mid/treble EQ lets you sculpt your tone with precision. A blend control smoothly crosses from pickup to EQ signal. This combination of pickups and EQ gives you the sonic versatility needed for any musical situation.
Neck-Through-Body Construction with Maple Neck Creates Rock-Solid Sustain
The SBX IV features a neck-through-body design with a maple neck and graphite reinforcement for exceptional sustain and rock-solid stability. The smooth neck contour and compound radius fingerboard further enhance playability with fast, comfortable access to the higher frets. The maple neck's clear tone and sustain will allow your notes to sing.
Active/Passive Circuitry Provides Flexible Tonal Options
A push/pull volume control provides the flexibility of active or passive operation. The active 3-band EQ can be bypassed for a traditional passive setup. This lets you choose the exact tonal character needed for any playing situation. A coil-split toggle switch further expands the SBX IV's sonic palette.

Worst playing bass I've ever picked up

First off, this thing is absolutely beautiful in candy apple red. Thats everything good about it though. My action is through the roof and it still buzzes, the glossy neck is sticky, the tuners suck, the nut sucks. The controls are a little confusing but thats not too much of a problem. The balance is alright, I do like the big horn that helps. Literally the only reason I would recommend this is if you wanted to hang it on a wall somewhere and never play it, or if you're brave enough to change the neck.
