Not a good crash sound I thought it was a great crash symbol.

I used to be a die-hard Zildjian only drummer. In a search to find my sound and embrace it, I opened up to Sabian Paragon, then Saluda, and now Istanbul Agop. I have found my sound with these cymbals. I have three Xist crash cymbals (18", 20", & 22") 14" Xist Hats, 24" Joey Waronker Ride, and just ordered a 20" Traditional Dark Crash from MF. I always encourage drummers find their sound that is unique to them. I am continuing on this journey myself and it's a blast. These Istanbul Agops have a full dark sound, a nice swell and a beautiful wash. I highly recommend for Worship and Church venues especially.
Absolutely amazing and rich sound!

Tried mid-level Zildjian and Sabian with no satisfaction but didn't want to face the steep price difference to get satisfaction! I accidentally ran into a used Istanbul Agop 17" crash in GC in Summerlin and purchased it without hesitation! Then, found out that I could get the 18" and brand new online for the same price using a coupon! Needless to say, I went for the new one and it has been a blast to have this beauty...
22" Crash

I bought the 22" crash to use as a crash-ride, and I couldn't be happier. It's very crashable, yet has a great wash-ride sound, with a very washy and dark bell sound. Dry and explosive yet also warm sound. Slightly lower volume and shorter decay than most crash cymbals. Very thin, but still extremely durable. Great for use in almost any style. I would especially recommend these cymbals for use in church, due to their low volume and quick decay. An overall excellent cymbal.
Absolutely gorgeous!

I had just started hearing about Istanbul and was very interested in their cymbals. I was looking for a cheap cymbal with a brilliant finish very warm thin and responsive crash without breaking my wallet. This cymbals was the perfect combination of all the things I wanted and needed. It's sound is very versatile so it can be used for pretty much anything. I'd highly recommend it for uses in church which is where I am currently using it.
