    I bought the 14"x8" Humes and Berg Enduro case with foam lining to house my(heavy)stave snare drum. The drum fits snug inside the case (i.e. will not get tossed around). The case is well made, the foam lining is quite sufficient and I expect it to last a good long time under some stressful conditions. Judging from it's looks and feel, it could probably withstand having an anvil dropped on it...I am only giving it 4 stars as it is still brand new, and I will need to put it through it's paces before I can give it a true critique. So far, so good...I will update my review after further testing.
