geat story , great ending...i purchased from michael mattice a natural sj200 standard. love the look and nice play. about a month after i bought it it started playing funning and did not sound as it should. i took the guitar to my luthier thinking it might need an adjustment. luthier said i can make it better but cannot make it perfect. wah, i called G C Michael mattice explaining. he said let me see what i can do. 2 days later i received a email fro gibson in tennessee. i shipped the guitar with my luthier report asking the to fix the guitar prop or replace. it took 3 months but gibson sent me a new replacement. thanjks gibson..loving the guitar. i have bought many guitars from G C....thanks G C and Gibson for doing the right thing.

While description says J-200, my 2020 came in with sticker inside guitar stating SJ-200 so for those of you wondering what the difference is, there is none. Even if tag said J-200, there is no difference other than the model number. This guitar is absolutely wonderful. I got the Vintage Sunburst. The neck on mine came like a very slightly larger slim taper, not as big as the 50/60 ES-339 but just a tad more than a slim taper. But each neck is a bit different due to each one being hand finished. Sound is very full, very even across the strings. Playing single notes on upper neck has a very resonant sound that fills the air and rings out acoustically. Works great both strumming and finger picking and I found all picked strings during hand picking to come out with the same dynamics and sound level. Beautiful tone, beautiful guitar, truly the "King of the flatops".
